Portraits from Heather and Keith's session

Meet Heather, Keith, Kyler, Hunter and Reese. Heather and I went to High School together a LONG time ago. Through the power of the internet we have been able to reconnect and I have done a couple photo shoots with her wonderful kids. I was thrilled when she contacted me about doing their holiday photos! This whole family is so much fun and I honestly don't think anyone can make me laugh as much as these 2 boys... they are fantastic. So here are just a sample from the session :)

Rockville Bridge- Prints Available

The Rockville Bridge, at the time of its completion in 1902, was the longest stone masonry arch railroad viaduct in the world.^[1] Constructed between 1900 - 1902 by the Pennsylvania Railroad, it has forty-eight 70-foot spans, for a total length of 3,820 feet (1,164 m).^[1]

The bridge crosses the Susquehanna River about 5 miles (8 km) north of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The eastern end is in Rockville and the western end is just south of Marysville.

I love this bridge. It has been photographed and drawn at so many angles I had a hard time deciding where to shoot from. I picked the south side of the bridge because some of the original pillars are still standing as you can see above. My Great-Grandfather helped build the original bridge so it does have some personal, family history too. Please let me know if you like them.

First Blog

Well I guess I need to start somewhere. My name is Rachelle and this is what I hope to be my Photography Blog :). I am 27 years old, happily married, mommy to a wonderful litttle boy. I am just in the process of starting out in the photography business. I live in a small town north of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with my husband, our son, our 2 German Shorthaired Pointers, 1 cat and about 1/2 dozen fish. Needless to say it can be quite a zoo in our house from time to time.

Right now I am focusing mainly on Outdoor Photography and Wedding Photography. I love doing portraits of family's and children although I have also done engagement sessions, infant portraits and scenic photography as well.
